What other facilities does Hopkinton Country Club offer? In addition to golf, the Club offers several additional amenities which complete the membership experience.
Dining and Entertainment The Clubhouse includes an informal restaurant or “grill room” and member’s lounge, a separate private dining room, and outdoor seating on the wrap-around porch. The Clubhouse also includes a banquet facility which accommodates up to 150 people. Additional amenities also include a full service Golf Shop, Bag Storage, and Full Locker facilities for Men and Women
Fitness The clubhouse includes a fitness center featuring elliptical trainers, treadmills, bikes, free-weights and a nautilus station.
Aquatics The Club’s pool and poolside lounge area features a wading pool and play area for children. The poolside snack bar offers a selection of sandwiches, salads, ice cream and cold drinks for the entire family.
Tennis The Club recently completed the construction of two hard surface tennis courts adjacent to the pool facilities. Our tennis program is administered by the Club’s tennis professional staff each season from Spring until Fall. Lessons, clinics and competitive events are scheduled for our tennis enthusiasts of all ages.
Who is eligible for membership? Membership is offered by invitation. It is the Club’s goal to create a membership which has varied interests and business pursuits. The Club has a strict policy of non-discrimination. Applicants will be considered regardless of sex, race, color, creed, age, national or ethnic origin, marital status, physical or mental handicap, veteran status or other bias prohibited by law. For sponsorship information, you are encouraged to contact the Club’s Office.
Is Hopkinton Country Club a truly private facility? The facilities at the Club are intended primarily for the use and enjoyment by members of the Club. As with many private clubs, the Club does however permit certain non-member tournaments and events to supplement member revenue. Non-member tournaments are restricted to Monday, when the Club is closed to its membership. Our hope is that the Club’s members will be directly or indirectly involved in the majority of the banquet events at the Club which may be attended by non-members. Attendees of outside events are restricted from Member areas
Does the Club operate Year-round? With the exception of the first two weeks in January, the Club does operate year-round. For golf, the season traditionally starts in early April and runs until the weekend following Thanksgiving. The Pool and snack bar opens on Memorial Day and closes on Labor Day. Our Tennis courts are open from April through the month of October. The Clubhouse and fitness room operates on a full schedule from April through December, and is open five days a week in January, February and March.
