Originally from Lebanon, Lina moved to the United States when she was 18. A mother of four, she also enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family.
Karen loves a challenge and finds satisfaction in results. She encourages team work, a sense of humor, and a positive attitude that hopefully translates to a happy work environment.

Here since the beginning, Dave is at the center of the golfing experience at Hopkinton. What makes Dave special is the way he fosters relationships with every member he meets. He’s an exceptional golfer, but if you ask any member who knows him – it’s Dave’s personality and positive outlook on life that’s at the root of his popularity. He has a sincere interest in getting to know every member – and takes great pride in making them feel comfortable and helping everyone enjoy their time here. He also participates in many charities including Make-A-Wish Foundation, Golf for Guatemala, Emily’s Pink Ribbon Golf and the Santa Fund charities.
That said, Dave also has a storied golfing resume, including 1976 New England Amateur Champion, 1979 Massachusetts Player of the Year, 1997 New England Match Play Champion, 2009 New England Senior PGA Champion as well as Massachusetts PGA Chapter Champion in 2001 & 2012. He is also a long-time personal friend with, and has given lessons to two-time Masters Champion Bernhard Langer.
Tom has been overseeing all things “culinary” at Hopkinton Country Club since May of 2005. His early career took him from Spartanburg, SC north to New Hampshire where he began his formal culinary training with Chef Andre Meyer. After which, his talents & successes were quickly realized. Between 1984 and 1994, Tom had earned “Best Chef in New Hampshire” honors three individual years while at the Boilerhouse Restaurant in Peterborough, NH. That led him to Boston where he served as Executive Sous Chef & Chef de Cuisine at the Parker House. After which, he served for years as Chef in Omni hotels in several top culinary cities including Cincinnati, Tuscon, Charlotte & Houston. He’s currently an active member of the Epicurean Club in Boston.
Tom has a passion for fresh farm-to-table eating. He created and cares for an heirloom tomato & herb garden at Hopkinton. In 2015, he’ll be adding strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries to the Club’s garden. Moving forward he’ll emphasize fresh, healthy eating and organics at our restaurants.

Mike is one of those guys you’ll always see smiling around the club. His enthusiasm and sense of fun is infectious. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Sports Management program. And, since his first job at Holden Hills Country Club in Holden, MA, he has travelled the country working at a wide variety of golf facilities honing his craft of bringing joy to golfers of all abilities and walks of life.
As a tireless advocate of making the game fun, he has successfully built the Ladies, Junior & Couples programs here at Hopkinton as well as making significant contributions to overall golf operations.
Mike’s job description also includes the role of personal on-site club-fitter and “Custom Club Guru”. Trained at the Maltby Academy in Ohio, he has been teaching, club making and club fitting for years. Mike has become an invaluable asset to Hopkinton – always striving to exceed the goals set before him and helping to creatively grow the game of golf.
Another Hopkinton anchor – Dick has been the Director of Tennis here for 12 years.
He coached the Hopkinton Boys Tennis team from 2000-2005. He also founded the
Tri-Valley Tennis Club in Ashland in 1993 and oversaw it until 2001. He was Director of Tennis for the towns of Dover and Medfield and the founder of the Waterfall Tennis Academy.
Dick received a full “Division I” athletic scholarship to the University of Evansville in Indiana. He was ranked #1 in the New England men’s 35’s singles division and nationally ranked four years in a row in the Men’s 45 singles. In 2009, “Coach” was recognized as Regional Pro of the Year. He earned a career-high national ranking of #15 in 2011 and earned a “Bronze Ball” at the USTA Grass Courts Men’s 45 singles that same year.
Coach Waterfall talents for tennis have been passed along to his three children ages 14, 12 and 10 – all of whom are ranked in the USTA. During the indoor season Coach Waterfall runs his academy at the Wayside Racquet Club in Marlborough.
Jack is another Hopkinton stalwart. Hardworking and a great co-worker, he has been our golf course Superintendent since 2001. Jack has a talent for multi-tasking and consistently delivering a finely conditioned course under wide-ranging weather conditions. He was part of the initial Hopkinton Country Club renovation and has been involved in it’s many renovations since 2001.
He graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Stockbridge School of Turf, and subsequently played an instrumental role in the development of Ipswich Country Club as well as the care of Colonial Country Club in Lynnfield. Just prior to coming to Hopkinton, Jack served for five years as Superintendent of Parks and Forestry in Andover, MA.
Jack is passionate about agronomy and doing the job right – which he describes as, “Delivering a beautiful golf course & club grounds through optimized conditioning while always respecting and rejuvenating our environment”.
Mike is a returning member to the Hopkinton family. He had worked with Jack and HCC for several years prior to a 10 year hiatus as Division Manager at Waverly Landscape & Sports Turf Specialties, Incorporated. It’s there where Mike continued to hone his skills by providing turf and irrigation expertise to colleges, universities, private athletic complexes and professional sports fields. Mike’s return adds depth to Jack’s team and expertise to “LUSH” – our newly established member-access turf care initiative. Mike attended Framingham State College – Bachelor of Arts (and UMASS Stockbridge).

Annie joined Hopkinton with over fifteen years of experience in retail and private club accounting. Her prior experience included many years at Winston Flowers where she honed her eye for floral arrangements. She also received her Masters in English Literature from Boston College. One could say Annie uses both the left and right sides of her brain. She’s a smart addition to the Hopkinton family.
Shawn is a local talent whose past includes Head & Sous Chef experiences at Truffles in Milford as well as The Coonamessette Inn & The Flying Bridge restaurants on Cape Cod. He is a huge sports fan and an even bigger fan of his one child, Emily, who is nine years old.
He has been a member of the Hopkinton family since 2008. In the last six years he has held positions as Sous Chef at Hopkinton Country Club and Executive Chef at Shining Rock Golf Club. In the fall of 2014 he returned to Hopkinton in the position of Chef de Cuisine with responsibilities including all a la carte dining.

Following Charlotte’s graduation in Hospitality at Endicott College, Charlotte’s career path has taken her to some very prestigious clubs in NH, FL, the Mid Atlantic and then back to Massachusetts where she has been for the last five years and is happy to be home. Charlotte earned her Certified Club Managers distinction in 2010.
Charlotte is very active in the Endicott College Alumni Community, serving on the Alumni Council and participating in student mentoring. She is also a Director on the Board of the New England Club Managers Association and enjoys sharing her passion for her career with fellow club managers. Charlotte has a Labrador mix puppy named Bella that is the center of attention in her house.
Lee Ann Honey
Lee Ann graduated in 1985 from Johnson and Wales in Pastry Arts and has worked in several upscale restaurants in and around the Boston area. She was the pastry chef at the Pine Brook Country Club in Weston, MA as well as wedding cake decorator at Rose’s Bakery in Cambridge, MA.
In 2006 Lee Ann opened Honey’s Café and Bakery in Medfield, MA. The bakery ran for nine years and was well known in the area for its high-end pastries and custom cakes.
In her spare time she enjoys skiing, traveling, and discovering new restaurants.
Assistant Golf Professional
Connor is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Coastal Carolina University. He successfully completed internships at Glen Ellen Country Club, Pinecrest Golf Club and Eastward Ho Country Club. Connor enjoys working with kids doing summer golf camps and is assistant coach for the Hopkinton High School junior JV golf team. During the off season he coaches the Holliston High School junior varsity hockey team.
His goal as an instructor is to make each student’s time on the golf course as enjoyable as possible by improving their fundamentals and increasing their understanding of the golf swing. Connor believes everyone has their strengths and he works with each student differently, catering to their specific needs.
Dana is new to the Hopkinton family but a veteran of club aquatic operations and coaching. He previously served as Aquatics Director at Mt. Pleasant, Concord and Nashawtuc Country Clubs. His coaching duties have included Head Swimming & Diving Coach & Fitness Director at Clark University, Worcester. Prior to that he coached at Assumption College, Worcester and was Assistant Coach at Colby College in Maine.
Dana is passionate about “all things fitness” and helping students with their scholastic & sporting endeavors. He also has experience as a Personal Trainer / Exercise Specialist at The Lexington Club, Concord Fitness Club & Wachusett Fitness. He loves the outdoors and enjoys trail walking with his wife Dominique and their two dogs, Chester & Nita. Dana is a great addition to the Hopkinton family.
